My brother-in-law's father passed away at a young age in the early '50s. He only discovered a few years ago that his father was the recipient of the Bronze Star. Problem is, he doesn't know the whys and wherefores of the medal. He needs help from anyone knowing his father, the actions that cause the medal, basically ANY information ANYONE can provide. Here is what we do know: Private Charles O. Bairn, US ARMY, 90th Infantry Divison, Rifleman, citation was between June 1944 and January 1945.
