Bus to Quantico

The July edition of the newsletter announced a plan to charter a 57 passenger bus to take folks to the Museum and Luncheon on Friday morning at a cost of $10.00 per person. But before we sign a contract we have to know how many of you want to take advantage of the bus service.

Since we anticipate a strong response, preference will be given to those who are not driving to DC.

A. If you are not driving to DC and want to ride the bus to Quantico, please e-mail or call Tom at or 540 370-4389 and:

• Identify yourself as a flyer.

• Specify the number of bus seats you need.

B. If you are driving, but are concerned about getting around DC, please e-mail or call Tom at or 540 370-4389 and:

• Identify yourself as a reluctant driver.

• Specify the number of bus seats you need.

If any seats remain after the “flyers” check in, priority will be given to those reluctant to drive in DC on a first respond basis, i.e. by e-mail date & time, or telephone date & time.

As usual, we need your input yesterday so contact me ASAP. Tuesday 29 July is the deadline. No input, no seat!

Information on bus departure location and time will be available in the Ready Room. Samo samo for carpool rendezvous location and departure time.
