In referance to the change of the name, I am for all COMBAT,HELICOPTER,MARINES, to belong to the org. In July of this year, I went to the Birthday Ball for HMM263 at New River, it was early because of their second tour leaving for Iraq. I met the new Marines and they are Warriors just like us, they Honored me with making me one of the Guests of Honor, they did not forget Viet Nam and reminded me often. In this tour I am in contact with the CO Ozzie Osborn, they have 22 Purple Hearts and a KIA already, less than 6 months in country. I have opposed the intergration until I went there, we and they are all combat helicopter warriors, I will always respect the phrase "OFTEN TESTED, ALWAYS FAITHFUL, BROTHERS FOREVER". They are our brothers, we owe it to them to join the elite organization POP-A-SMOKE! We are brothers. it is a family.

Ron,
At the last reunion there were two groups of people from 263. The 34 people and the 46 people. That being said, what it really came down to was there was just one group of people, 263 people. There's no doubt in my mind that at the next reunion, there will still be only one group of 263 people. The only difference will be in the stories we tell.
