Lurch, I agree with ole Newt there. But I listened to a 3-4 minute speech by him the other day, and the joker that came back on the phone got right to the point. He said,'We need you to help us gain victory , and 200 bucks would be just fine'. I said ,'well its like this, we Vets and SS people have not gotten a COLA in 2 years, and the vets may be going for 5 years before one., and here you want me to send you 200 dollars'. Told him I was voting Republican in all offices that I could vote in, and as far as sending you money, send me 500, and I'll send you 20-30 bucks maybe. I feel bout 10 dollars of that 200 would go to Newt, and the people calling would take the rest for overhead. They are not doing this for nothing. They don't want to talk very much more after that. LOL. I agree absolutely with the ideas Newt has, but I can only vote for them right now. Semper Fi, and READY-APP.

My point was many need to hear the way it it is !! Of course money is required in order to compete with the other dark side. I just give if I can & feel it is right. Too many are only consernd with what is in it for me !!! Facts are everything is at stake for all of us !!!

I agree Paul. Its sad when they say things are not going back up. Gas has gone up 15 cents a gal. in less than 2 weeks. That shut down in the Gulf is kicking in. I go to the store for milk, and a few other things that was 32-35 bucks, but the same things now has shot up to 49 bucks last time I went to the store, but Still same-o set amount of income. Its 10 days now before voting, and if they have not made their minds up yet, go to pakistan, as we just gave them 2 Billion bucks. The military is eating high up on that hog now(pakistani's). Bet they are older people (Americans), eating canned dog food, and we send 2 Billion bucks to people working with the enemy. I bet you we re-build completely hati. Ah shoot, just make them citizens, and build each one a new home, give them a new car, and tear the old towns down, and build new ones if you can find one still standing. Bout time we owned another country. We gave brazil 2 Billion bucks just recently to drill off shore, and not one drop of the oil will come to the US of A. Its going to china, or russia, and soros is among the chief stock holders of that drilling company. Bamma just signed an executive order to give it to them. Soros is the biggest contributer to bamma at this point. Hate it, but just can't give to their campaigns, even the Republicans. I've put off 3-4 days going to the store myself. Maybe tomorrow the groceries will be 55-60 bucks at least. Have good ones. Semper Fi, and READY-APP.

Ace your right that things are spirling up out of control prices . but what price FREEDOM ?most of us on this site know ! what Newt and Paul are talking about is our way of life and commitment to freedom .I do and am still willing to make some sacrifices . I would still willingly give my life for my country and my belief in the constitution (I have never unvowed ) in fact it would be my honor as long as it serves a real purpose ! not some misguided unnesscessary action !

Gentlemen, I would gladly give my life for my country too, but we seem to have to help the whole world 1st before we help ourselves. You bet if I had the money, I'd find a good place to send it. Don't have it. The cic has already done several impeachable things, but not 1 person has the guts to see it through. Maybe after Jan this coming year. Semper Fi, and READY-APP.

We still CAN

We still can serve our country as I think I am . Any of you that want to put your life on the line just go help out with some of this years election s. I have and know there isn't enough of us out there to help answer the young people's questions. So if we aren't there who is going to give them real insight? Really! I have had some young people ask about war and my thoughts on these right now,so I'm glad for the little I do take part. I know they get some sound answers> Thank God for Courage!!!

JJ, I agree for sure. The people here are half nuts. You can try to tell them what is going on, but they just don't listen. 3 and a half gas will be back soon, and by the time everyone else raises their prices, we will be in a big jam for sure. They are trying to convince the people to keep the health bill. I hope they repeal it, read it, and then keep the better parts. I try to talk to as many as I can. Hope it is doing some good. Best shut down, and get going. Kind of wish it was this evening already. It could be a good day. I'll see the va, then stop back by my Family Dr. My goodness there is a lot of bad weather on the east coast today, its just a mess. Semper Fi, and READY-APP.

Looking UP

Was ask tonight to work some polls and maybe to talk to some college Classes. Was also given a shirt from the young American's college Kids for a better country. Gives me a bright smile to see some of these young people care so much. All Hope isn't loss. God Bless (One Nation Under GOD) Semper Fi:)
