I would think that the command chronology for MAG-16 and MAG-39 should list everything. Check with Big Al

I am looking for all wars and conflicts, not just Vietnam, where Marine helos saw action.

This is the list I have so far, and I'm sure it's not accurate. Any help would be appreciated.

I'd also like to have a list of squadrons by war/conflict.

The Marines landed in Lebanon in 1958 to help settle a civil war. I remember seeing pictures of helos supporting the landing. I was a junior in high school at the time. I don't know how long we stayed there that time.

There were some HOK's and maybe others involved in something in the late 50's early 60's in central S. America. I remember Robert (Whimpy) Norton talking about later. Something about arrows in the fuselage?
