Please advise if these 263 patches are in the right chronological order. This is a request from VMM-263.
I was with HMM-263 in Tustin at MCAF Santa Ana, from Dec 67, when we got our first Phrog, until Aug 68. That whole time we had the Gopher Patch - "Gopher Broke"

Gents,
Given my two tours in HMM-263 - '80 to '83 and '94 to '98 - the 'order' of the patches, #3 thru #6, looks good to me.

Looks right to me.
J.D and I are way to young to even know about that first one! Perhaps the old timers will know about that one? Hehe

HMM/VMM-263 Patches
I was in HMM-263 from Nov '66 to Nov '67 [ H-34's ] when the colors came back stateside to reform with H-46's. Our patch was the second row, second from the left so that one should also be between the HMR and the Eager Gophers patches on the first row. Hope this helps. Semper Fi Joe H.
HMM-263 Patches
Peach Bush Med-evac would be from the UH-34 days, I believe. Move it to the left of the "Gopher broke". Was on a commercial flight with a couple of their '34 guys and rember their discussing this at length.
HMM-263 Patches
The Peachbush Medevac patch came after the Gopher Broke patch. It was the patch we had in 1970-1971.
