I need to verify to the Veterans Administration that I was assigned to H&MS 16 located at MMAF in late March of 1970,
my claim has been going on for over 75 mos. Is there any way to expedite the verifcation process with Naval/Marine Corp records. I was assigned to H&MS 16 and worked in the hydraulic shop, HML 367, Scarface, was assigned to MMAF at that time also, I think they came down from Phu Bai in Jan or Feb of 70, any info or help will be greatly appreciated.

I researched both my Phu Bai and MMAF HML-367 cruise books and was unable to find your photo. I have the HML-367 Squadron Roster from Feb 1970, you are not listed on it. This is because you were with H&MS-16. I suggest you contact SSgt Howard "FATCAT" Hartwick, HML-367 Hyd SNCOIC ( 68,69,70 )at
