I was wondering if there were any Marines here, preferably in the CH-53 community(or maybe an old 37 guy, size does matter!), that would be interested in being the guest of honor for Marine Helicopter Training Squadron 302's MC birthday ball in Jacksonville, NC. A buddy of mine is on the ball committee and thought it would be great to have an old salt that knew what the hell they were talking about instead of "the CO from across the flightline that happens to be pals with our CO". Besides, thats what the birthday ball is all about, honoring our heritage and the bravery and sacrifice of those who came before us. What better guest than someone who has "been there and done that".
