Subject: Req Photo Ref Support for UH-1E National Museum of the Marine Cor ps
Dear Sirs,
The National Museum of the Marine Corps, to open on 10 Nov 2006, is displaying a Bell UH-1E as flown by Capt Steven Pless. The helicopter had a TK-2 weapons mount with rocket pods, two M60C machine guns on either side, and two M60 door guns.
To date, the museum does not have any good close-up reference photos of the TK-2, the door mounts for the M60 door guns, and the mounts for the M60Cs on the TK-2. We contracted a company to fabricate the TK-2 and door mounts, but the results are not accurate and complete.
I have seen a lot of material on the web but need better quality photos. Is there any chance you have good reference photos that could be used to ensure for an accurate configuration of the weapons mounts and system?
Any help concerning this matter would be deeply appreciated. If you have any questions, I would be more than happy to explain the situation.
Semper Fidelis,
Dieter Stenger

There are good pictures of the weapons systems in the May 1967 issue of the UH-1E NATOPS manual section 8 pages 2, 4,5 and 6.
If you don't have a manual I can scan and send.
