MOS's

I don't have a clue where those MOS's came from but they are not even close to the MOS's on my SRB...My SRB calls me a 6418 JetHel Mch (VMO2)
6319 JethelMech T-53 (H & MS 30) 6332 RecipHelomech (HMM764)

My MOS for helicopter mech ( recip engine ) 1960-1965 was 6481.

In late 68 or early 69 my MOS number was changed from 6319 to 6114. I still had the same MOS but the numbers changed. Some lists still have the old numbers but the list provided by ACCS here appears to be the correct one. SEMPER FI !!!

MOS numbers change

I left for the civilian world 30 March 1968 and my DD-214 reflects the new number. As I recall, the change had taken place shortly before.
