Dear Sir,
I am looking for the BuNo's of the 4 Kaman H-2s, which were used by the USMC with fire suppression kit. I only know about BuNo 151319/P2 (which is shown on your website).
Hope you can supply me the answer and maybe you also know during which period these 4 aircraft were in use with the USMC.
Many thanks in advance.
Kind regards,

Response about Kaman H-2's
I was stationed at MCAS Beaufort,S.C. Jan. 69 thru Apr.70, with H&HS. We were SAR and had two H-2's that were used for that. I have a few pictures of those birds, but have check to see if the BUREAU #,s show up. Just can't come up with the #'s off the top of my head at this time. It's been awhile!!
My in country Squaudron was HMM-265 fom APR. 67 thru DEC. 68

H&HS MCAS Beaufort got their UH-2Bs sometime in 1964. They first show up in the OPNAV Notice 05400 (Naval Aeronautical Organization) for Jul 1964. By Jul 1970 there was 1, and 0 in Jan 1971.
SO&ES MCAS Cherry Point got theirs about the same time, but replaced them before Jul 1969.
UH-2B Seasprite Fire Supression Experiment
The fire supression experiment was conducted with one UH-2B (Bu#151319) at MCAS Cherry Point in 1967. See photos on popasmoke by searching "Seasprite" in Viet Nam section. This was in response to the disastrous fire aboard the USS Forrestal in the Tonkin Gulf off Viet Nam. The photo captions explain the whole experiment. As far as I know, no other
UH-2Bs were used, anywhere.
Here's 2 photos and a shot of the crew.
