H-34 Antennai

Hey Guys:

Where's the KY-28 antenna? Remember that "Top Secret" High powered, low frequency radio they installed in the 34 in late '67?

That fat, vertical antenna that hung behind the gunners window?

That thing almost cost me my life when I got shot down in Hy Van pass (Dog down in Hy Van Pass). As Avaionics officer as well as squadron pilot I had to destroy that thing while everyone "De De'd " out of the crash site.

I'm sure all the "Twidgets" remembered the antenna.
