Dear Fellow Marine Helicopter Veteran,

Please excuse this form letter, but I am contacting everyone on my mail list with a request for assistance for the good of the Corps.

I am assisting an aviation author, Robert Dorr, in finding a picture of a UH1E gunship to use in a book about Marine UH1E's in Vietnam. He would like several pictures but must have at least one view from the side that shows the entire aircraft. Mr. Dorr writes for aviation journals and is currently doing some stories for the Marine Corps Times.

He must provide the original slide or negative to his publisher, so you must agree to loan him your original for several weeks.

Please let me know if you have one or more that might fit his needs or if you know of anyone who you think might be able to help.

Please send me a digital scan of the suggested picture and I'll forward to him.
