My fiance's uncle flew a ch-46. For Christmas, I am trying to find an 8 x 10 image of a ch-46 for his office. Does anyone happen to have a high quality picture or digital image that might help me out. I have done searches on the net but the prices are rather high.

many thanks

-D

Phrog Photo

If you knew what squadron he flew with, you might go to the photos posted here and find one with the squadron logo on the bird. Just a thought

Combat Art

You should contact Mike Leahy, http://www.thehootch.com/

It's better than a photo. Mike has done some custom work for me where he adds the squadron logo, bureau #, etc.

There's no one better.

H-46 picture

I have a number of H-46 pics, mostly HMM-165 or HMM-261. They are professional quality. If you have time I will make up a thumbnail sheet with the images but if not, describe what you would like and I'll do what I can.

I only want my out of pocket expenses, $20 for an 8x10, including post & packing

There are some of my pictures on Popasmoke.

Not to sound indifferent, but I did do some H-46 time while on cruises and extremely bored...but for the most part, my experience with them was carrying them back to the ship or land base after they "got dinged."
Surely, that is not the kind of picture you are seeking...

CH-46 Longevity

Hey Hooper,
Maybe one of those "Dinged" 46's are still flying some 40 years later. If you want, I'd be happy to send you a picture of my aircraft I crewed with 263 in 1970. I had the pleasure of seeing it at Camp Pendleton a few weeks ago. Oh, did I mention it was still flying?

J.D. It was all of those hard hours you poured into it when you were flying it in RVN that made it possible! # 11 ride on!
