Good resource for locating any US Aircraft Airframe,
I found my bird and it says it was "Struck off Charge". I have lost the ability to recall what that means exactly. I presume that means scrapped???

Struck Off Charge can mean a number of things, but basically it has ceased to be a military machine. It could have been used as a spares ship, stored or sold onto another owner, miltary or civilian.
If anybody would like a more detailed history of "their" bird, I may be able to help with it's final fate, just send me an e-mail with the BuNo.
Thanks once againi.
It may have taken a little longer than my memory served me but I knew she was just about spent back in 1968. She was being canabalized then. She apparently had new life, probably sent to PAR and flew for some time afterwards.
...and that makes me smile. ;):)
