I was at the Edwards Open House Sunday and went over to talk to the MAG-46 guys (HMM-764 & HMH-769). I was surprised to see a green Phrog with "HMM-774" on the side. I spoke to a Maj Robinson from 764 and he filled me in. The reason for the 774 markings was because 774 had relieved 764 in Iraq and the two squadrons had traded aircraft, with 764's 46s staying in-country. The green paint job was because this particular Phrog was BuNo 154803, formerly "Lady Ace 09" of "Frequent Wind". 774 had restored it to the old green paint job in commemoration back in 2001. HMM-764 has custody of it until they go back to Iraq and trade aircraft again.
