I'm trying to add side numbers to the list of G model Cobras that served in these squadrons. Thanks to Sid Nanson I have serial nos. and dates, but not their side numbers. So far I've got 815039 MP-51, 815045 MP-52, 815104 MP-411, and 815105 SN-08. That's it out of 25 aircraft that served.
The last 4 Gs that we had in 169 in 1976 (817023, 817041, 817070 and 817105) had numbers in the 20s but I don't know the correct side numbers.
I've also seen a photo in Marines and Helicopters 1962-73 of a 169 Cobra with the side number 93.
I hope there are fellow members of HMA-169 or anyone from 773 who might know some of the numbers, or where to look.
