    C-117. If you look at the engine nacelle, you can see the doors that closed over the main gear. C-47s did not have those. Have logged lots of time in hummers with H&MS-17. -Submitted by: Mac McGrath [mcgrathmac@comcast.net] 2011-02-02

    This may have been the ship I flew in as the radio operator.I was in the flaresahip the night of TET 1968 sitting on the flight line for refuel and load more flares but no one came back the base was on alert and I sat in the ship.Then it hit the fan rockets and the bomb dump blowing up.This pic brings back memories.
