I was a pilot with HML 167 out of Marble. On my third or fourth mission as a nugget. I was standing next to our Huey gunship while the crew went to HQ. I heard a bang and turned to watch puffs of smoke move down the runway. I had no idea it was a mortar attack; no one tells newbies anything ;^) Capt Pejay King HML 167 70-71 -Submitted by: Patrick King [patrick.king@ttuhsc.edu] 2011-04-21

When we were in An hoa, I would rather be in the bush then in the rear. That place was the pits. Saw a couple choppers shot down right outside the perimeter. -Submitted by: Charles O'Donnell [ignatius9347@yahoo.com] 2006-06-06
