Village of Phu Bai, 1968

On one of our unauthorized trips to Hue after Tet of 68, we would sometimes stop in the village outside the base. This was just a photo I snapped with one of the guys interacting with the kids. Obviously they were friendly. It was nice to interact with the local people and find people who were glad you were there. Obviously, they didnt all feel that way. One of the guys last name was Evans, from Operations, and the other we called Moose, from Reading, Pa, I believe. If anyone knows of them or remembers them please drop me a line.
