  • Col Joseph Nelson, former VMO-6 CO

    Submitter: Bertram Bowers <>

I spoke to Col Joseph Nelson (former VMO-6 CO) yesterday after church. He was telling stories of Operation Cochise. Though wheelchair-bound now, he still loves to tell of his missions and the brave men he served with. He lives in Havelock, NC, and I'm sure he would love to hear from anyone he served with over the years. His contact info is as follows:

    Col Joseph A. Nelson
    21 Cherokee Dr
    Havelock, NC 28532-2506
    Phone: (252) 447-7349
