Thirty-six years after his death in Vietnam, US Marine LT Donald Matocha (TEAM DALLAS GIRL/D Co/3rd Recon Bn) came home. His sisters' visit to the United States Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command to accompany him back to Texas was only the beginning of a journey to learn more about what happened to their brother on April 5, 1968. They found their answers "An Ocean Away."

Documentary filmmaker Patrick Fries, whose idea to fly a restored UH-1 "Huey" helicopter to Vietnam veterans became the award-winning film "In The Shadow of The Blade," has revisited the Vietnam War--this time on the battlefield. Fries' new Vietnam War documentary, "An Ocean Away," will debut on The Military Channel Thursday, February 9th at 8:00 ET. "An Ocean Away" follows the return of U.S. Marine Donald Matocha's remains, missing for three decades, to his Central Texas family, and the subsequent journey of his sisters to the battlefield in Vietnam where he died.

FYI - Ron Gatewood, HMM-262, was the pilot that fateful day. He accompanied the family back to Vietnam. Below is a blub from the publicity for the program:

"(Accompanied by Marine veterans from Matocha's patrol and the helicopter pilot who rescued them, Loretta Matocha Eiben and Linda Matocha Masur retraced the steps of the Marine reconnaisance patrol known as "Team Dallas Girl" to the top of Dong Ma Mountain near the former DMZ. “This was a miracle for our family,” Linda Masur said.)"

I am posting this for my dad, he was over in Vietnam when this happened. He missed the airing of this show and I wanted to know if anyone can direct me in the direction of possibly getting a tape/dvd. Or if anyone has recorded it on DVR or Tivo, please let me know.
