  • HMM-164 - Colonel Warren "Dad" Watson

I received this email on January 24, 2013. Colonel Watson was the original C. O. of HMM-164 when they deployed to South Vietnam in 1966. I only served under him for less than a month and got to know him at the many Popasmoke reunions that he attended.

    Dear Friends,
We are saddened to tell you that our father Col. Warren Watson passed away this weekend January 19, 2013. At 90 1/2 years, he lived a long and amazig life. His wife of 67 years passed away in May 2012.

On behalf of our parents, thank you for being a part of their lives.
