  • First Deployment / V-22

Anyone who is a news junkie like I am knows by now that it's official. The first Osprey deployment is to Iraq in about September 2007.

Every news source has its own take on this.

The best? The New York Times! [Saturday, Apr 14, 2007] Reporter Leslie Wayne states that a major weakness of the aircraft is its lack of an on board bathroom!

Leslie Wayne... (of the New York Times)

...is at it again. The fact that the Osprey lacks a bathroom is still a major defciency, at least to her way of thinking!
