    Everybody that is bitching about the rates at the Hilton, please check out the rates that the Army Aviation Association is paying for there 2008 convention in DC, and remember that we need a lot of rooms, and to stay together the only 2 hotel in the DC area that could accomplish that is the Hilton with 1200 rooms are the Gaylord Nation, with 2000 rooms and 500 suites, rooms at the National would have been a lot higher (reg price $299.00 up and suites $1,100.00 to 11,000.00) the AAA is paying $285.00 civilian &$201.00 Military and up that was with them booking the whole hotel, just go to there web site to verify this, Remember DC is the second highest priced vacation spot in the USA surpassed only by Hawaii, also remember the AAA convention is in April not August when prices are usually higher.
