  • HMM-262 remembers Cpl Saba

Today, Feb. 7, 2009, is the 2nd anniversary of the Death of Cpl. Thomas Saba, Crew Chief HMM-262, KIA in Iraq. As I write this message, his family and freinds; former fellow squadron members of HMM-262, led by LTCol Michael Farrel, his CO at the time; members of the HMM-262 Vietnam Veterans Association; the Marine Corps League are gathering in his Memory in his hometown. Marines, former and active, have traveled from all across the US and come from as far as Italy to be present at this Memorial and Celebration of his life and his sacrfrice for Freedom.

    May he Rest in Peace.

    Semper Fidelis, Cpl Saba!!!

This is from Jake Jacobs - CO of the HMM-262 Viet Nam Veterans Assoc.
